Kiosk Mode

Kiosk mode turns any screen into a public-facing display for your pro shop. Show work order statuses, let customers check in, and display spec sheets without giving access to your shop management tools.

Enabling Kiosk Mode

Kiosk mode is designed to run on a tablet, monitor, or TV in your shop's front area.

1

Open Settings

Navigate to Settings in the app and find the Kiosk Mode section.

2

Enable Kiosk Mode

Toggle kiosk mode on. The app switches to a full-screen display optimized for public viewing. Navigation is hidden and customers cannot access shop management features.

3

Choose Display Mode

Select what to show on the kiosk: work order status board, customer check-in, or both. You can also enable inventory browsing for customers to see available balls.

Tip

To exit kiosk mode, tap and hold the shop logo in the corner for 3 seconds. You will be prompted for your password before returning to the full app.

Customer Self-Check-In

When check-in is enabled on the kiosk, customers can announce their arrival without interrupting your work.

Check-in works even if the customer does not have a TS account. They just need to be in your customer list.

Work Order Status Board

The kiosk displays a Kanban-style board showing all active work orders grouped by status. Customers can see at a glance whether their ball is:

Each card shows the customer's first name and the ball name. Full details are not displayed for privacy. The board updates in real-time as you change work order statuses from your phone or another device.

Spec Sheet Display

Customers can view their spec sheets on the kiosk by searching for their name. This is useful when a customer wants to review their layout details or share the information with another driller.

Tip

Set the kiosk device to stay awake (disable auto-lock in your device settings) so the display is always visible to customers walking up to the counter.
