Inventory Management
Keep track of every ball in your shop. Add items manually or pull specs from the bowwwl.com database, set pricing, monitor stock levels, and mark items as sold when they move off the shelf.
Adding Balls Manually
Tap the + button on the Inventory screen to add a new item.
Ball Details
Enter the ball name, brand, and weight. You can also add the color, coverstock type, and core name if you have them on hand.
Specs
Add technical specs like RG, differential, and intermediate differential. These are used by the layout calculator when drilling this ball for a customer.
Quantity & Pricing
Set the stock quantity, retail price, and optional sale price. The sale price shows as a strikethrough discount on the kiosk display.
Save
Tap Save to add the ball to your inventory. It will appear in the inventory list and be available for selection in work orders.
Searching bowwwl.com
Instead of entering specs manually, you can search the bowwwl.com ball database directly from the add-item screen.
Tap Search Database
On the add-item screen, tap the Search bowwwl.com button to open the database search.
Find the Ball
Type the ball name or brand. Results appear as you type with ball images, coverstock, and core info.
Import Specs
Tap a result to auto-fill the ball name, brand, coverstock, core, RG, differential, and other technical specs. You only need to add the quantity and pricing.
Tip
The bowwwl.com database is also used when adding balls to a customer's inventory. Search once and the specs stay attached to the ball record permanently.
Setting Retail & Sale Prices
Each inventory item has two price fields:
- Retail price — the standard shelf price for the ball.
- Sale price — an optional discounted price. When set, the kiosk display shows the retail price with a strikethrough and the sale price highlighted.
You can update prices at any time from the inventory detail screen. Price changes take effect immediately on the kiosk display.
Tracking Stock Levels
The inventory list shows the current quantity for each item. When stock reaches zero, the item is automatically flagged as Out of Stock and hidden from the kiosk display.
- Low stock warning — items with a quantity of 1 show a yellow indicator so you know to reorder.
- Quantity adjustment — tap the quantity field on any item to increase or decrease stock. Changes are logged with a timestamp.
Marking Items as Sold
When a customer purchases a ball, you can mark it as sold directly from the inventory detail screen or from a work order. Marking an item as sold:
- Decreases the stock quantity by one.
- Optionally links the sale to a customer record.
- Adds the ball to the customer's ball inventory if linked.
- Records the sale date for your records.
Tip
When you sell a ball and link it to a customer, Pro Shop automatically adds it to their ball inventory. This means the ball is ready to select when you create a work order for drilling.
