For sanctioned tournaments, Director generates USBC Form 8 financial reports automatically from your tournament data. No spreadsheets or manual calculations required.
Generating a Form 8
Open a Sanctioned Tournament
Navigate to a tournament that has the Sanctioned toggle enabled.
Go to Reports
Tap the overflow menu and select USBC Form 8 or find it in the tournament's reports section.
Review the Report
Director pre-fills the form with all available data from your tournament. Review each section for accuracy.
Generate PDF
Tap Generate PDF to create a printable document. You can then print it or email it directly to your local USBC association.
Report Contents
The Form 8 includes the following sections:
Tournament Information
- Tournament name and sanction number
- Start and end dates
- Bowling center name and address
Entry Summary
- Total number of entries
- Entry fee per bowler
- Fee breakdown (prize fund portion, lineage, admin)
Financial Breakdown
- Total amount collected
- Lineage paid to center
- Administrative fees
- Added money from sponsors
- Total prize fund distributed
Prize Distribution
- Complete list of all prize winners
- Position, name, and amount for each payout
- Total prizes distributed
Tip
Make sure your tournament is marked as sanctioned before you start adding entries. This ensures all required USBC fields are collected during the entry process.
