Staff & Permissions

Tournament Sense Director supports role-based access control so you can delegate work on tournament day. Assign staff to individual tournaments or leagues with specific permissions — each person gets exactly the access they need.

Two Levels of Access

Staff access works at two distinct levels:

Organization-level

All members of your organization can see every tournament and league within that organization. Permissions are determined by their organization role.

2

Per-tournament / Per-league

Assign specific people to specific events by email. Ideal for volunteers or one-time helpers who don't need access to your entire organization.

Available Roles

Each staff member is assigned one of the following roles:

Director

Full control: create, edit, delete, payouts, staff management

Assistant Director

Enter scores, manage entries, edit settings, manage side pots (no financial access)

Scorer

Enter scores and check in bowlers

Side Pot Manager

Manage side pots only

Viewer

Read-only access (kiosk, results display)

Adding Staff

Open Manage Staff

Open your tournament, go to the Overview tab, and tap the Manage Staff card.

Enter Email

Enter the staff member's email address.

Select Role

Choose their role from the dropdown (Director, Assistant Director, Scorer, Side Pot Manager, or Viewer).

Add

Tap Add — they'll appear in the staff list immediately.

Account Required

The staff member must have a Tournament Sense account registered with that email address.
