Recently Deleted
Deleted the wrong tournament? Removed a side pot you still needed? Settings → Recently deleted lists everything you removed in the last 14 days and puts it back with one tap.
What lands in it
Four things, the ones worth undoing:
- Tournaments — with their events, squads, divisions and entries intact
- Leagues — with their teams, weeks and scores intact
- Side pots
- Side-pot sessions
Everything inside a restored tournament or league comes back with it. You do not restore the children separately.
Restoring something
- Open Settings and tap Recently deleted.
- Find the item — each row shows what it was and how long is left on the window ("9 days left").
- Tap Restore.
It reappears immediately wherever it used to be, on this device and on every other device signed in to your account.
Restoring does not put a public page back
If the item had been published — a tournament bowlers could register for, or a side pot they could buy into online — it comes back unpublished. That is deliberate: restoring should never quietly put a buy-in back on sale and start taking bowlers’ money again without you deciding to. Publish it again when you are ready.
Nothing is ever destroyed
The 14 days is how long an item is offered for restore — not how long it survives. Director never permanently erases a deleted tournament, league or pot. Once the window passes it simply stops appearing in the list; the record is still there, and support can still reach it.
That also means the screen is safe to browse. There is no “empty the bin” button, because there is nothing to empty.
Why something might not be listed
- It was deleted more than 14 days ago. It is still in your account, just past the restore window — contact support and we can bring it back.
- It was deleted before this feature shipped. Director only started recording when something was deleted in this release, so anything removed earlier has no date to measure the window against and is not listed. Support can still recover it.
- It is an event, squad, division or entry. Those are not listed on their own — they come back with their parent tournament or league.
Tip
Deleting a tournament asks you to type DELETE first, and a side pot asks for confirmation. If you are clearing out old test events, you can now do it without worrying — anything you remove is one tap from coming back for the next two weeks.
