Getting Started with Tournament Sense Coach
Tournament Sense Coach is built for bowling coaches who want to manage students, track sessions, assign drills, and deliver professional reports — all from one app. This guide walks you through account creation, profile setup, and the basics of navigating the app.
Creating Your Account
Getting started takes just a minute.
Open the App
Launch Tournament Sense Coach from your home screen or desktop. You will see the sign-in screen.
Tap Sign Up
Tap the Sign Up link below the sign-in form to create a new account.
Enter Your Details
Provide your email address, choose a password, enter your name, and pick a unique username.
Accept the Terms of Service
Review and accept the Terms of Service, then tap Sign Up to create your account.
Profile Setup
After creating your account, you will be guided through your coaching profile setup. This information is used throughout the app for session fees, reports, and student-facing details.
Name & Business
Confirm your name and optionally add a business name that appears on reports and invoices.
Specializations
Select the areas you specialize in — such as physical game, mental game, ball motion, spare shooting, or youth coaching.
Certifications
Add any certifications you hold (USBC Silver, USBC Gold, International, etc.). These display on your coaching profile.
Hourly Rate
Set your default hourly rate. This is used to auto-calculate session fees when you create new lessons.
Home Center
Select the bowling center where you primarily coach. You can change this later or add more centers.
Organization Choice
After profile setup, you will be asked about your organization preference:
- Create an Organization — start a new multi-coach organization that other coaches can join.
- Join an Organization — enter an invite code from an existing organization to join their team.
- Skip for Now — coach independently. You can create or join an organization at any time from Settings.
Tip
Most coaches start by skipping this step and setting up their students first. You can always create or join an organization later.
Navigation
Tournament Sense Coach uses a bottom navigation bar with four tabs:
- Dashboard — your home screen with quick stats, upcoming sessions, and action chips.
- Students — browse and manage your full student roster.
- Sessions — view all scheduled, completed, and cancelled sessions.
- More — access reports, drills, teams, invoices, organizations, layout calculator, and settings.
Tip
Tournament Sense Coach works on mobile and desktop. Your data syncs across all devices automatically via cloud sync.
