Settings & Account
Personalize the app and manage your account. From theme and language to cloud sync and biometric security, everything is accessible from the More screen.
My Account
Navigate to More > My Account to manage your profile and credentials:
- Bowler name — your display name across the app
- USBC / TNBA / PBA numbers — your sanctioning IDs
- Bowling hand — Right or Left
- Thumb usage — whether you bowl with a thumb
- Change email or password — update your login credentials
- Sign out — log out of your account
- Delete account — permanently remove your account and all data
Theme
Navigate to More > Settings to change the app theme. Choose from:
- Light — bright background with dark text
- Dark — dark background for low-light environments
- System — follows your device's light/dark setting
Language
Tournament Sense supports 9 languages:
- English
- Spanish
- French
- German
- Italian
- Portuguese
- Japanese
- Korean
- Chinese
Pin Input Mode
Toggle between two modes for entering pins during frame scoring:
- Knocked down — tap the pins you knocked down
- Standing pins — tap the pins still standing
Choose whichever feels more natural to you. The mode can be changed at any time from Settings.
Bowling Type
The default is Tenpin, but Tournament Sense also supports:
- Candlepin
- Duckpin
Each type uses its own scoring format and rules.
Import Data
Migrating from another app? Tournament Sense can import your data from:
- Bowlr
- BowlSheet
- PinPal
Follow the in-app prompts to upload your exported data file and map it to Tournament Sense's format.
Cloud Sync & Backup
When you're signed in, your data syncs automatically every time the app goes to the background. You also have manual options:
- Sync Now — manually trigger a sync at any time
- Download encrypted backup — save a local copy of all your data
- Restore from backup — recover data from a previously downloaded backup
Tip
Cloud sync happens automatically — your data is backed up every time you close the app.
Biometric Lock
Enable fingerprint or Face ID protection to secure the app. When enabled, you'll need to authenticate each time you open Tournament Sense.
