Oil Pattern Library
Browse and manage oil patterns, grouped by length. Search locally or pull patterns directly from the Kegel API, import from URLs, and download layout images for offline reference.
Browsing Patterns
Navigate to More > Oil Patterns to open the library. Patterns are grouped into collapsible sections by length:
- Short — under 40 feet
- Medium — 40 to 50 feet
- Long — over 50 feet
- Unknown — patterns without a specified length
Use the source filter dropdown to narrow results: All, PBA, Kegel, USBC, or Custom.
Searching
Type in the search bar to filter your local patterns instantly. Once you type 2 or more characters, the app also searches the Kegel API for matching patterns.
Kegel results appear in a separate section below your local patterns, each with a green + import button. Tap it to add the pattern to your library with all specs pre-filled.

Tip
The Kegel search checks their official API — you get the exact specs and can download the layout image.
Event Linkage
Each pattern in your library shows how many of your events used it. Link patterns to tournaments and leagues to unlock the Performance by Oil Pattern report, where you can compare your scores across different conditions.
